Donation, adoption and volunteering certificates: when they are issued, where to find them, and how anyone can verify them.
When they are issued
A certificate is issued automatically once your donation completes, you adopt a tree or your volunteer hours are recorded, if the foundation issues that type. The foundation may also issue a participation certificate for a project.
Where to find them
In the app: Profile → My certificates. Open one to Download PDF, Share or Open the verification page.
Verifying
Each certificate has a number and a QR code. The Verify a certificate page shows "This certificate is genuine" with only what verification needs: a shortened name, no amounts, no contact details.
Revocation
A certificate is revoked if the donation is refunded, the volunteer hours are corrected, or a corrected replacement is issued. The verification page then shows "This certificate was revoked" and when, and the replacement is under "My certificates".
