The tree page and its QR code
What each tree's page shows, opening it with a QR code or NFC tag, and why its location is sometimes approximate.
Every planted tree (or tree group) has a code and a public page.
Opening the page
- Scan the QR code on the tree's plate with your phone camera, or in the app: Scan QR code.
- Some trees have an NFC tag that opens the same page when you hold the phone near it.
What the page shows
- The species, the project, the planting date, and the number of trees for a group.
- Location: exact, or approximate per the project's policy to protect the trees.
- Timeline: watering, inspections, maintenance and health checks with photos. Only what a field manager approved appears.
- If a dead tree was replaced you see "Replaced by" or "Replaces".
- If you supported it you see "Supported by you".
If you see "There is no published tree with this code", it may not be published yet, or the code is not a Muthaberon tree.
