Terms of use

The basic rules for using the website and the app and for donating through them.

By using the foundation's website or the Muthaberon app you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.

Your account

• You sign in with your phone number or email and a code sent to it; you are responsible for protecting your device and number.
• Donating and creating an account are for adults (18 or older).
• You can delete your account at any time.

Donations

• Your donation goes to the project you choose, and the number of trees is computed from the project's approved tree cost (planting, watering and care for one year).
• Payment happens on the payment gateway's page, and the gateway's own terms also apply.
• A donation is complete only once the gateway confirms it; the receipt is issued after that.
• Refund requests are reviewed under the foundation's policy; contact it within a reasonable time after donating.

Trees and impact

We show the status and photos of trees as they were recorded in the field and approved. Trees are living things: some may die despite care, and the foundation handles that under its replacement policy.

Campaigns and content

• A campaign you create is reviewed before it is published, and the foundation may reject or hide it if it breaks the law or these terms.
• Do not publish offensive or misleading content, or content that infringes the rights of others.

Acceptable use

Do not try to reach other people's data, disrupt the service, or abuse verification codes or payment gateways.

Liability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available and accurate, but it is provided as is and may pause for maintenance.
